Emma has a keen interest in responsible public policy development and environmental management and is passionate about contributing to public dialogues on public issues. Emma’s thematic style in understanding bigger picture problems enables her to contribute high-level analysis and insight into diverse areas, and she brings an analytical and critical approach to complex systems. She pursues an open-minded approach to projects with an eye to future issues and impacts.

Emma’s background is in a range of academic and consultant positions, with a strong research focus. She has experience working with a range of actors in Australian and international spaces, including private sector organisations, all levels of government, industry specialists, service providers, and the public. Her personal work ethic focusses on high-level communication and outputs to produce the best experience for all clients and stakeholders.

Since joining Aither in 2017 she has worked on projects in the strategy and performance, emergency management, and international water markets portfolios. These projects include research and analysis of complex systems, strategic policy review at state and federal levels, and organisational reform strategies.
