Will Fargher

Will is one of Australia’s leading water advisers. With senior experience working on water policy and strategy across the public and private sectors, he is a natural leader and communicator who can bring people on board with new ideas.

Before co-founding Aither, Will served in the Australian Government Senior Executive Service as General Manager at the National Water Commission. Prior to that, he worked in strategic policy for the Department of Primary Industries Victoria.

Will has represented Australia at numerous international forums, and lectured on water reform in Europe, Asia and the United States. In 2009, he was awarded a Churchill Fellowship to study international water policy and management.

Will’s recent advisory work includes leading strategic planning and policy development, advising on governance arrangements, and facilitating negotiations between government and the private sector. He was recently appointed to the Water Expert Panel overseeing Australia’s National Infrastructure Plan and 15 Year Project Pipeline.
