Chris is a founding director of Aither and an expert on water policy, markets and infrastructure across Australia. Chris plays an active role leading many of Aither’s high profile and complex engagements working across governments, utilities, investors, regulators and agricultural enterprises.

Clients benefit from his strong grasp of economic principles combined with his balanced, practical approach. He draws on his experience and understanding of government and business to help clients think ahead and see the broader picture.

Chris has worked in consulting and advisory businesses over two decades. At Aither, he has been instrumental in building the team’s capacity to deliver high quality economic and commercial advisory services for governments, water market participants and water utilities.

Chris developed Aither’s water markets advisory practice which undertakes valuations of multiple water portfolios worth over $100 million, produces our award-winning Aither Water Markets Report and undertakes ground-breaking research and modelling of water supply and demand.

Chris is regularly asked to speak publicly and in the media on water management and markets in the Murray Darling Basin.
