Rachel Barratt leads Aither’s South Australian presence. She is a dynamic leader in the water and natural resource management sector with a career spanning nearly 20 years.

In addition to her knowledge and expertise of water and natural resources management and policy, Rachel is well known for her strategic foresight and engagement expertise. Working closely with clients, Rachel helps to unwrap complex policy and management issues and develop practical solutions. Her ability to engage with communities and stakeholders and an understanding of both the public and private sector provides her with a unique insight into developing solutions.

Prior to joining Aither Rachel was the Chief Executive Officer with the Water Industry Alliance. Previous to that, she gained in-depth experience through a number of senior executive roles in government. Rachel was a member of the South Australian Murray Darling Basin Natural Resource Management Board and is currently Director of Brownhill, Keswick Creek Stormwater Management Board.

Outside the office Rachel enjoys spending time with her active family and dogs, hiking through the Adelaide hills or enjoying the many splendid beaches around South Australia and on Kangaroo Island.
