Get to know

Yvette is a policy and regulatory reform specialist with over ten years’ experience delivering water and natural resources management policy and legislative reform outcomes.

Yvette has recently joined Aither as a Senior Consultant helping clients with policy and regulatory design, reform and evaluation. As a creative and insightful thinker, Yvette is driven to deliver best practice and better ways of doing business through advising on quality regulatory and policy outcomes. She applies core research and analysis skills to identify strategic vision, navigate options, and overcome barriers to action.

Before joining the Aither team, Yvette delivered various regulatory reform, policy and business improvement outcomes in policy roles in the South Australian Department for Environment and Water. Key achievements included delivering significant reforms to South Australia’s Water Register to provide for registration of interests and enhanced transactional services, and substantial changes to the manner in which boards operate, plan and are funded through the South Australian Government’s Landscape SA reforms.

Yvette is also experienced in Murray-Darling Basin policy, water trading and market operation having delivered initiatives to improve the performance of South Australian water markets and provide for consistency with Basin Plan requirements.

Yvette is skilled and experienced in engaging with stakeholders, routinely delivering briefings, engagement and education events as part of her project delivery.

Outside of the office, Yvette enjoys creative pursuits playing the harp as part of a harp orchestra, and painting and drawing as an artist delivering the Colton Collection.
