Clare has extensive experience working with all levels of government across the strategic, technical and on-ground and elements of water and environmental management.

Clare assists clients working in water, environment and natural hazard management to develop clear strategies and practical performance frameworks that drive positive improvements in the way our resources are managed. She works with closely clients and stakeholders to better understand the challenge or opportunity they are addressing, articulate what they want to achieve and identify the best ways to achieve it.

Clare’s first foray in water management was as a young child helping her father attend to the irrigation on their farm in Gippsland. Clare worked as a waterway and stormwater engineer for almost seven years before joining Aither in 2016. She now focuses on her passion for enhancing organisational and program strategy and performance to deliver better outcomes for water and environmental management.

Clare values regular and open communication, actively draws on insights and experience of the client and stakeholders, and provides frank and independent advice.
