Nick is a highly experienced consultant with deep water sector knowledge. Driven by natural curiosity, Nick is passionate about providing clear, evidence-based and actionable advice for challenging problems.

Nick’s strength in critical and analytical thinking is complemented by a sound understanding of water and wastewater systems and the urban water sector in particular. As jurisdictions everywhere grapple with the impacts of population growth and climate change, Nick has a particular interest in supporting strategic and investment decision-making to improve water security.

He is equally adept at strategic planning and detailed analysis, with strong communication skills that ensure he delivers practical advice clearly. His project experience ranges from cost-benefit analysis and business case delivery, to program review, policy advice and strategy preparation.

Nick’s professional experience spans roles in Australia and abroad across consulting, industry and a public utility, underpinning a deep understanding of the water and natural resources sectors from a range of perspectives. Prior to joining Aither Nick was a Principal Engineer with AECOM, a global provider of infrastructure services.
